Together As One - Inner pages

Every month, our eclectic, corner gallery at 33 Orwell Street, Potts Point, will host a new meticulously curated exhibition of contemporary Aboriginal art.  The first show is nothing short of stunning: a body of new work from the Martu people of the remote Western Desert entitled ‘Together as One’.

For Martu the creative act of painting is one that requires other people in order to be meaningful, and  in order to be possible, nobody paints alone. You can feel it strongly as your view these magnificent works.

Artists include Jakayu Biljabu, Bugai Whyoulter, May Chapman and Nora Wompi, all of whom were featured in the critically acclaimed Martu exhibition at the MCA last year.
