Emily Cullinan's - Inma (Women's Ceremony)
Inma (Women's Ceremony). I have painted an Inma Ceremony, which is a traditional song and dance. Men and women both do Inma to celebrate our culture and the stories that we have passed down to each other through generations. The inma in this painting is a young women's inma, we paint ourselves with white lines and line up in a row. The young girls join in ,so we can teach them and pass on our traditions - the lines indicate our movements through the desert sands.
